Lili Trifilio started writing music in school and in her parents’ house, channeling the emotions of relationships and breakups. Starting as a solo act, she had released an EP in 2016 when she formed Beach Bunny with guitarist Matt Henkels, bassist Aidan Cada, and drummer Jon Alvarado. Her writing has been prolific, releasing four EPs in only three years, with a full length album, the upcoming “Honeymoon”, set to be released in February 2020.
Beach Bunny stopped by Paste Studio to play a few songs two days before their sold out show at Rough Trade in Brooklyn. They’ll be back in the area when their Goodbye Summer Tour hits Music Hall of Williamsburg on March 31st.
