The annual Pandora holiday show is one of the most anticipated of the season. Previous performers of this huge free event have included Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, the 1975, Bastille, Post Malone and SZA. This year, the show moved from its previous location at Pier 36 to Avant Gardner in Brooklyn and featured pop superstar Halsey (aka Ashley Nicolette Frangipane).
On the heels of her speech at the AMA’s where she threw shade at the Grammy Awards after not receiving a nomination, Halsey had her fans lined up and fully behind her for this show. The line outside the venue started in the morning and grew throughout the day, even in the rain and cold. Halsey, known for her generosity with her fans, sent out food and snacks for those waiting on line. It’s great to see a pop star give so readily back to her audience.
Pandora went all out at this show with free food from Wendy’s and plenty of merch being given away from tie-dyed caps to t-shirts to lip balm. But the crowd was there for Halsey and she delivered in spades. Her high energy show was non-stop, even including flames in the background!!
Her new record “Manic” comes out on January 17th so pre-save it or pick up a physical copy when you get the chance!
