As the holiday season approached, there were quite a number of Christmas themed shows in and around the city. One of the more anticipated was by the duo She & Him, comprised of actor/singer Zooey Deschanel and guitarist M. Ward (Matthew Stephen Ward). A holiday shows seems apropos since 40% of their total records sales (according to Billboard via Wikipedia) are due to their Christmas albums, the last one “Christmas Party” released in 2016.
Opening the show was comedian Peter Lee. The Wisconsin native has been a regular on the Jimmy Fallon, has performed on Comedy Central, had a web series and has been touring regularly. Funny funny guy…you should check him out.

The crowd at Kings Theatre were thrilled when She & Him took the stage. Besides a brief run of Christmas shows in California last year, this is their first east coast tour since 2013!! They stuck to holiday classics and did not extend to any of their non-Christmas songs. However, they did give out a best costume prize to the audience member in the best holiday costume, making for a very happy fan!
