In anticipation of their sophomore studio album “Lonely Generation” (release date Jan 10, 2020), Echosmith spent a few days in NYC promoting the upcoming record. This is their first album since 2013’s “Talking Dreams” when they burst into our collective consciousness with “Cool Kids”. A lot has happened to the Sierota siblings (Sydney – vocals/keyboard, Noah – bass/keyboard, and Graham – drums) over the last few years. Brother Jamie left the band and the group formed a new record label Echosmith Music. The title track for “Lonely Generation” was released as a single on Sept 27 and speaks to this generation’s obsession with mobile devices and social media.
Last Wednesday, October 23rd, they played a set at Brookfield Place as part of the Artists Den series. On Friday, they stopped by Paste Studio for a quick session before rushing to the airport. You can see the full session here: Echosmith at Paste.
Echosmith will be kicking off their Lonely Generation Tour at le Poisson Rouge in the Village on February 13th. Get your tickets now! >>>
