This was my introduction to the Neon Trees. Devo was supposed to be the headliner for this Halloween concert at Hammerstein Ballroom but they had to cancel. Elissa and I got to the venue early and Neon Trees was nice enough to let the early comers in for sound check. Then they did a nice little meet and greet with us. Very very cool band. And the show was crazy good.
One other thing. First guy on line was in love with the lead from the Drums. Unfortunately, as we were on line, a pigeon or a flock of them pooped on him. He pretty much had to throw away his sweatshirt.
