The first time I heard the squeaky poppy voice of Eva Hendricks, Charly Bliss was opening for Veruca Salt at Webster Hall in 2015. Fast forward to 2019 and two albums later, they have been touring non-stop as both a headliner and opening for bands like Death Cab for Cutie and PUP. Their sophomore album showed a maturity and production level appropriate for a band on the move. Their live shows are also much tighter and only seem to be getting better. Two days before they released their Supermoon EP, they stopped by Paste Studio to play a quick set.
Check out their session on YouTube here.
