As a teenager, what type of music do you gravitate to if your dad is a renowned Broadway composer? The opposite of course! Anna Rose, with Tom Waits and Chris Cornell as influences, rocked hard on her first two albums. Her latest record “The Light Between” goes in a slightly different direction. It’s a little more singer/songwriter and Americana, taking some influences from her recording in Nashville. This evening, she celebrated the release of that new record at the ASCAP offices with a brief performance.
